$250 half oz is what I paid back in DC for the good stuff. Seems about right comparatively.

Something called Animal Cookies I believe. Been a long time.

Holy shite! $72 + a heavy tax I’m sure, and you’re well over $20/ gram. Was $200/ oz or $10/ gram when I stopped 5 years ago, I would imagine cheaper/or similar now.

Yes, it’s easy. Restless leg syndrome is one of mine and there is no card. Do not buy a gun while having a script and DO NOT carry a gun in vehicle with the weed. Once you get the script you can put other weed in the bag but no more than a zone at a time.

Good luck Smokey,

Anxiety on its own is not enough to get the card but if that anxiety manifest in headaches it is. My phone call took 3:15 seconds and had a call from the dispensary about two hours after my consult that they had just received my prescription and I could come by and pick out what I wanted whenever I was ready.

If it's like California, it's a joke.

I have family out there and any who want a card have one

You could tell them you stumped you toe and get a card

there is no “card”.
it’s a prescription recommendation

1) register for and do the telehealth consultation
2) you have to send your medical records and or allow them access
3) they send the recommendation to the dispensary and you go buy what you want

I go to the dispensary in BR. It’s expensive but a half ounce will last me several months. If you want edibles/concentrates you are better off flying to Denver for the weekend and bringing it home

legal safe access to good flower is a game changer

Tincture -$100+/bottle
Vape cartridges are $70/ea or $10 off for 3 @ $180
Gummies I get are $120 for 20.

The vape carts are also tied a Pax vape pen that under contract can only be sold in the state through the authorized medpot shops. $90 for the vape pen, $60 for replacement batteries.

Plus once your receptors are full you get no higher and may even lose your buzz over time to where you don;t feel a thing from THC, it becomes your normal state of being.

Runs you about $400/month total to have THC++ from SU or LSU, and LaTech has recently (this year) joined the growing.

I get my card from a pain care specialist who is a true believer in medpot. Says he's gonna cure me of pancreatitis and hernias with pot.

This guy knows what’s coming. If you cannot see the feds are first going to play the “mentally unstable” card, I don’t know what to tell you.

Most will forget where any guns they own are. Gonna be interesting to see that all play out.

How are you going to truthfully answer question 11e on ATF form 4473? It asks if you are an unlawful user of marijuana and explicitly states that a state medical marijuana card does not count as lawful use. You'd have to lie (a felony) or answer yes and be rejected.

United States v. Dugan in 2011 upheld the gun ban for illegal drug users

Wilson v. Lynch in 2016 held that a woman who held a medical marijuana registry card but never even purchased or used any could be denied her gun rights

And last month: The Biden Administration Defends the Federal Ban on Gun Possession by Medical Marijuana Users

If you value your 2nd Amendment rights, there are delta8 products sold everywhere now and if you want the real thing it's super easy to get farm bill compliant delta9 THC edibles. Don't waste your time with state level medical marijuana programs unless you know you'll never want to touch a gun again.

I don't know why more people don't talk about this. I guess it's because potheads and gun ownership don't typically overlap a whole lot outside of (already illegal) drug dealing scenarios.

Is there a legal mail order system that is discounted? What about mailing to yourself from Colorado?

transporting cannabis across state lines is illegal. There is no legal way to do it.

concentrates and edibles though are scent free and easy to safely mail. I just throw them in my pack at the airport though and have never had a problem. Again, it’s illegal. You’d be taking a risk.

and taking away the risk is all that matters as far as medical goes. I’ll gladly pay the extra money for the flower here
