Pump resources into mental health, fix the nuclear family, and hopefully get past this dumbass culture war we have with fear mongering at all times.

Anything more specific than that? Ok, here are some government-designed pamphlets printed out and put in the hallways of public schools and counseling centers. Problem solved.

Definitely a part of the problem in our society but might as just type "bring world peace."

Mass shootings should rightfully cause fear, especially in the frequency that we have them.

Why don't you explain how unconstitutional and unenforceable laws have any bearing on mitigating these events? Explain why states with all the laws you have mentioned still have mass shootings. Explain you miserably dishonest little cretin.

Anything more specific than "red flag laws"? Especially how to have them without violating people's rights?

So works for this argument but not guns, convenient.

Illegal firearms with criminals are a far, far bigger threat than mass shootings, but people don't seem to care about dead poor minorities, so here we are.

Gun-control advocacy should definitely be a flag in the NCIS.

But social programs are communism. Literally the entire GOP is united in preventing this sort of thing from ever being put into place.

Perhaps if a credible threat is made and a red flag is enacted on a teenage kid, the same law that prevents a parolee from being in a home with firearms applies here?

There's a specific take at it. How about you on mental health?

Huge sweeping statements are always right. I'm sure the party that is actively wanting children to have the ability to access puberty blockers for gender dismorphia really has it going.

I don't know about that, but typing weird shite like this should:

If a person is not of sound body and mind, the general public should be able to go through a judge to have their rights removed. That's about as vague as "credible threat" so it works.

Your point would make more sense if there has been an example of a school shooting where the shooter was a low income kid who didn’t have access to mental health care.

In fact, these school shooters tend to be upper middle class/come from firm financial families

Adam Lanza, Cruz, etc.

Credible threats = threatening to shoot a school on Discord chat with guns in your home.

If a person is not of sound body and mind, and a judge has that person's rights removed, should they be allowed to be in a home with unsecured guns?

Which means they are all probably heavily medicated on SSRIs but that's probably a coincidence even though SSRIs all have warning labels admitting that they cause a major increase in homicidal thoughts and actions.

Yes, assuming they are declared incompetent, I'm fine with not allowing unsecured guns in the house. Shouldn't have unsecured car keys, and should have various other items. By unsecured, I mean behind and/or having a lockable mechanism on the firearm. Anyone with time and tools can get into any safe.
