If they were a reporter covering a pride parade with a bunch of dudes larger than them touching them while they are trying to pursue their dream on a public stage I bet they’d be less happy to laugh it off with an apology

It’s a fascinating dichotomy to me that so many people in this thread have the “that’s so ridiculous that he’s actually being punished like this” and then when someone gets shot by a cop after a petty crime, the board has so many “don’t commit the crime, and you wouldn’t be in that situation” opinions.
Im not studying everyone’s post history and have no idea if it’s the same people who take both of the above stances even though it contradicts their own logic. My hunch is that we have quite a few who feel that this man being charged with a crime is crazy and a man getting shot for committing petty theft is fine since he broke the law and actions have consequences.
