Off topic but I responded to a post of yours from a while ago on the MSB RE: your formula when tanning CFB teams with an inquiry

Where does it say the butt is an intimate part of the body?
It not a sex organ last time I checked.
O.C.G.A. 16-6-22.1 (2010)
16-6-22.1. Sexual battery
(a) For the purposes of this Code section, the term "intimate parts" means the primary genital area, anus, groin, inner thighs, or buttocks of a male or female and the breasts of a female.

Apparently a guy committing a textbook battery on camera and being charged with said crime is controversial.
The dude is 100% in the wrong
I just f’ing hate how people run to social media for attention
If I were humiliated on live tv I wouldn’t be pushing it on social media
That’s just my opinion, I am in no way taking up for the guy

One of those stories where everyone involved is terrible

In the charge it stated “slight penetration was felt”. I think he stuck a middle finger forward

The SEXUAL battery complainers are getting all worked up for nothing.
Assuming the guy has a relatively clean record the criminal issues won't ruin his life. The cops and ADA will almost always charge the highest crime the facts support. In this case the facts support GA 16-6-22.1. Sexual battery. Again assuming the guy has a fairly clean record this will likely be reduced to unwanted touching or some other entry-level battery crime. If he has never used his get out of jail free card he will be able to enter pre-trial diversion and end the whole episode without a criminal record. Even if the charge of Sexual Battery remains it is a non-registry misdemeanor crime in GA.
The guy will spend $4-5k on a decent Chatham County defense attorney, possibly some classes (GA isn't big on classes) and deal with his PO for a year or two and be done with it.

You aren’t exactly a good example because something like this would never happen to you.

Is she ok with it happening to men?
Butt slaps are just so uncommon in sports it has to have been done to zap her power and victimize all women - biological or psychological.... (testing for AI).
I never participated in the ritual in team sports or when helping to coach teams as it seemed a little weird, but it was common.
Even if one were to say those are mainly between heteros and not sexual I am sure more than a few butt slaps in sports have been done by a homosexual male to another male or a pedophile coach to a boy (and girls but she excluded males not females).
Not saying his actions were right (what he describes he was trying almost happen several times with other runners but he seems to have hit his intended mark), but more reporter is using this for attention and also seems a little dramatic. She says she and all women in a related sense are a victim here, but she seems more like she is parlaying this into bigger job and fame than seeking justice.

"He took my power, and I'm trying to take that back," Bozarjian said Tuesday on "CBS This Morning," adding, "I think what it really comes down to is that he helped himself to a part of my body."

Bozarjian described the "heavy impact" and told CBS News the encounter made her feel "extremely vulnerable."
quote:
"I would say the reason why maybe it caught so much fire is because the emotion is extremely relatable for women all over the world," she said.

This is what I have a problem with. This is how social media can be dangerous. I don't agree with the fact that he have the female reporter a slap on the backside.. Because technically it is assault..
But what was his intent? Before doing a report on this, the reporter should have both sides of the story. Because of his intent, he might not have even thought that it was offensive or made her feel violated.. But talk with the guy first. She should have expressed to him how his actions made her feel. He should have had the opportunity to explain his actions..
If she would have confronted him and told him how it made her feel, he might have truly been upset with himself for doing what he did. If so, there is no reason to file a police report.
Based on the law he did sexually assault her. But as a reporter, she absolutely should have reached out to him to get his side of the story.. His intentions.. Or at least be able to say whether or not he wanted to even defend himself..

So if he is sorry he didn't commit a crime?
That's a novel concept.

What dude did is literally the definition of sexual battery.
Does anyone think that if it was a chick doing that to a male reporter that anything would have happened other than the reporter having a chuckle?
It was dumb, but the guy was just trying to have a fun moment on TV. It wasn't some premeditated attack.
I never see football players freaking out about it.

If all you arse guys could chill out maybe it would just be seen as regular assault.

Just curious, for everyone in this thread.
If you’ve ever grab, touched or slap a girls arse, did you always ask permission first? Whether stranger or not, whether wife or girlfriend, some random on the dance floor during college, or some strange at a wedding reception, Mardi Gras Ball that was eying you from across the room.
Has anyone actually ever asked “may I touch/grab/slap your arse”?
The answer is no because the slap on the arse is a sign of encouragement, just like in baseball or football. It’s not always sexual.
I think this guy was wrong because he didn’t know her from Adam, but I don’t think it was a sexual act. I think he was caught up in the moment running his race and tapped her on the arse bc he saw her shooting a live shot and wanted to get in on the action and his actions got the best of him. He could have just meant to tap her to encourage her to shoot a good story.
Definitely bad judgment on his part but don’t think it constitutes sexual battery
