Thrillist

Didn't I tell y'all this dude was a fricking hipster.

I'm sure your garbage steak pairs nicely with some pecan roasted craft beer.

I know you know that I know, but I know it's worth clearing up that I know nonetheless.

One of the articles they had featured was best craft beer something or other.

I didn't remember a ton of hipsters around South Bend, but I suppose it is 2019.

It would create a circular formula since SOS is incorporated into a team’s rankings. Every team’s ranking would be “error.”

Assuming this means you are using some outside data to initialize your SOS computation and using the SOS component in your team ranking formula:

Could you run your formula recursively, such that you use your rankings as is as run n=0 and then run your same formula to generate team rankings but use your n=0 results for your SOS computations; and call these results for team rankings n=1. You could repeat this to generate SOS and then team rankings until the results stabilize.

Maybe they never converge, but as you iterate through this process you will gradually lose some dependence to outside sources that your n=0 run will have.

Ahh. No, there is no outside data used. Wins and losses are the only data I use.

Honestly, I completely misread some of what was posted here and misunderstood the basis of your formulation as a result.

Sorry about that.
