Yes, I was referring to the smell of the diaper in a hot car. Not decomposition.
Promise you he smelled that.

AJC did it right? I haven't listened.
I actually found the wife's testimony and that of her friends ("he sucks, but we don't think he did it on purpose") to be pretty compelling.

I say rig up a cell in the supermax prison in CO that keeps the temp at a steady 90 degrees. Just enough for misery and not enough to kill him. Forever.

Was that the Alabama fan? Either way, good

life in prison without parole is a ridiculous sentence under those circumstances. I hate to say it but if he's smart he will find a way to kill himself. Life in federal prison is worse than death

Obviously I wasn't on the jury but it would take a mountain of evidence to get me to believe that a parent would do this voluntarily.
No such thing as "I forgot."

Marital struggles aside, Taylor described Harris as a "very involved" parent who loved their son. In her mind, she said, the only possible explanation was that Harris forgot Cooper and accidentally left him in the car.
After reading the article it doesn't appear to be intentional. Hell, they were even using a day care. He forgot to drop the baby off. It's awful and I would have a hard time living with myself. He should most definitely spend time behind bars, but life seems pretty harsh to me.

Yes there is which is why people get off or dont even get charged in these situations. All the time.

Forgot to drop him off just minutes after eating breakfast with him? The Home Depot tree house is only a little over half a mile from the Chick-Fil-A that they ate at. No way you forget your child that quickly. Toddlers that age aren't quiet after eating. I have one close to that age. They're wired.

They should funnel a colony of fire ants up his butt and cement his arse shut.

The cops should transport him to a different prison in August and forget he's in the van.

He would have smelled his dead child immediately upon getting into his vehicle after work. The poor baby boy was dead for several hours by then...and we know what happens at that point. You can't tell me he didn't smell that in a scorching hot car.
So many questions but I just don't understand why he wouldn't just leave his wife and son. Tons of men do this everyday without having to murder the kid they don't want.
I know accidents happen but I always have trouble believing someone who leaves their kid in the car and it isn't until hours later they realize it. My friends kids are not babies and I have been taking them places since they were 4, 5 years old, but I have a completely different mindset when they are in the car with me. If I have a kid seat in the back, I can see it in the rear view mirror.. I don't know, someone has to be in their own world to forget a baby is in a car, but either way this dude is a sick son of a bitch. How can someone even consider doing this to a child? And what's even worse is that the poor child had to suffer first. I hope this dude gets the shite beat out of him in jail.

Good i hope he gets raped everyday and they beat the shite out of him.

Assuming there are no appellate issues regarding evidentiary rulings and the jury was picked fairly, he can rot in prison for the rest of his life.
