They both give drugs to children so what’s the difference?
I think I’d describe this post as you trying too hard, while also not trying hard enough.

Shrink was obligated to inform CPS. CPS gets wood when they get to go pick up a kid. CPS is not good. They are as an entity incentivized to break up families.
The kid was able to be a kid for 71 days straight. That is remarkable. Ice the cake with high dollar meds falling short of this 71 consecutive day mark. No medicinal value my left nut.
They took his fricking dog.

Are you kids on any meds? Yeah, no way you would ever give your kids drugs, or a plant, right?
I will just leave it at that...

Idea, only police forces that test every officer weekly can make an arrest for weed. You KNOW cops use this stuff as well.

So the law is end all be all in your book? Is that what you believe?

Why has only one person mentioned Dad testing positive. If it was “for his son’s seizures”, what business does he have smoking it? That’s my only hold up with the whole thing.

Not really no, CBD oil is legal but it can't be grown in state nor can you take it across state lines

“Drugs”? You mean medicine lovingly created in a lab by doctors vs a dirty plant grown by Mexicans? Which do you think is safer?

Do you know how many Mom's are popping some of their kids Adderall's. It is amazing that soooo many people would be up in arms about this and they are the same people that have no problem putting their kids on Adderall (crystal meth light) for getting C's in the 3rd grade.

So do you guys know that medical marijuana is actually legal in GA?
I know it isn't commonly prescribed like how it is for everything out west, but it was intended to help out kids with seizures. Maybe if the state would actually provide medical cannabis for the patients and actually let more people from GA use the program, then this situation would have totally been avoided. But as is, they are going to break up a family, arrest the loving parents who just wanted to help their son, and probably frick this kid up until he is able to turn 18 and hopefully he can make it until he is 18.

Remember that if you set the precedent that ignoring the law is Ok in this case, you now have to deal with a million people trying to exploit it.
It's like you have no clue prosecutorial discretion exists and thousands of laws are ignored daily because of it.
