It's hilarious because xenophobia is likely a evolutionary/societal strategy employed to prevent "the others" from bringing in new diseases to your group.
Also, China is not a race of people. It is a country and landmass. This would be the appropriate way to call the virus. "Chinese virus" is the actual, more "racist" way to use it.
It's like calling Canada Geese "Canadas" rather than "Canadians."

Then again, we do call plants Chinese Privet and Japanese Climbing Fern, and there are Cuban Treefrogs.
Also, I can tell from the downvotes that people don't realize I'm not condemning the sign, and saying that true xenophobia at the onset might have spared the world from this outbreak.
