I watched every minute of that trial and can assure you there was no "media narrative" necessary. I have no idea how the hell Zimmerman walked other than the prosecutor not being great.
I got news for ya, bud.....theft, starting fights, punching a bus driver (pretty sure that one is made up), none of that warrants the death penalty. Beating up a guy who was following you in your own neighborhood is not reason for being shot by a vigilante.
Lots of people are pieces of shite. Hell, you're probably a piece of shite. Doesn't mean people can just indiscriminately shoot you when the opportunity arises without getting due process in a court of law. This is 'murica, damnit!

You know, at the time, I felt he was justified in shooting Trayvon. You don’t legally get to bash somebody’s head into a concrete curb just because they’re following you.
Now I find myself almost wishing Trayvon had had the chance to finished what he started. Trayvon would be in the slammer for murder/manslaughter and we wouldn’t have to keep hearing about George and his constant cries for attention.

It was a fricked up situation, involving some fricked up individuals. From what I can remember, besides the evidence, the only eyewitness was Zimmerman, so who knows what really happened in the heat of the moment??
Incidents like this do not have to divide our society, yet they always seem to do so
Also, I keep seeing Zimmerman being referred to as a ‘white supremacist’. That shite needs to stop. In that one clip someone posted a few pages back that has 6-7 different mugshots of him, he looks like he could be anything from Mexican, to middle eastern.. he’s definitely not a white guy

Dude, there are people I know today who were completely different in HS. It didn't seem like it at the time, but when you put into context things that some of those people did, it was criminal behavior.
Trespassing, abuse of private and public property, underage drinking, illegal drug use, I am sure by today's standards you can throw sexual harassment in there.. Theft.. fighting.
Several years ago one of my cousin's sons (so I guess that is also my cousin).. Who was not really a bad kid. I'd say his was more mischievous than anything, but was a good student, didn't disobey his parents, etc.. But my cousin and wife got a divorce, there son was in HS.. During that time he and a friend went purchase air bb guns and went around shooting out lights and other shite.
Being in todays world, they were dumb enough to forget there are cameras every where. They were arrested. They eventually got community service. He is now 24-25 years old, has a pretty good job.. One in which he has opportunity to grow and is engaged. Who here can honestly say they didn't do anything at least borderline criminal when they were a teenager?

George Zimmerman is a moron. He put himself in a position where he had to use deadly force when he could have easily stayed in his vehicle, waited for cops to arrive, and avoided the entire shite show. If you pull the trigger and it isn't crystal clear that it's justified it is going to ruin your life. Defending yourself will be expensive.
