What part of slavery was legal in George’s day do these people not understand.
US laws can’t be applied retroactively. It is intellectually dishonest to judge him by today’s laws an morays.

I don't know about the rest of y'all, but if I'm somewhere and I find that I just don't like being there, I go somewhere else. Then, I make the effort to not return to the place I did not like.

It's my responsibility to make sure I don't make decisions that make me uncomfortable or unhappy.

It's not the rest of the world's responsibility to pander to me to make everything the way I think it should be. What sane person would think that's an appropriate expectation?
