You stupid idiot deporting all the low iq illegal immigrants en mass will:

Reset job and wage market
Reset housing market (both rental and single family housing)
End any and all shortages of food and other goods
Empty our Hospital emergency rooms that these low iq morons use as their primary care doctor
Help public schools use time and money better instead of wasting it on low iq illegals who can’t speak English

All of these things will actually make things cheaper. When you have millions of extra consumers who are living off of handouts it drives competition and pricing up. It’s not 1985 anymore these illegals aren’t coming here to ‘work’ they are coming here for all the free handouts we give them.

The contractor ought to be more concerned about getting fined by state and federal labor officials for hiring illegals than the welfare of his illegal workers.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

This country is full of houses that are perfectly livable, just old and need some work done. This idea that we gotta migrate to the new neighborhood isnt sustainable. The government could help by not using government programs to infiltrate these neighborhoods with Poors.

Many of these construction raids are initiated by the contractors themselves just before payday.

Inexpensive, semi-skilled replacement labor is easily found in this sector.

It is easy to say - hire American workers, but there are so few American workers who are both willing to do this work and can pass a drug screening/criminal background check.

If we are serious about deporting construction labor, the economy will take a massive hit. I know that isn't something you want to hear, but it is the truth. Construction will stop, and there is no easy solution to replace this labor. Forget about the costs... the actual jobs will stop. It would crush the economy.

They will. They are far too shortsighted to realize the implications.

how do you know they aren't focusing on the worst ones first? would you prefer they focus on places where the worst illegals most likely aren't? if the "good" ones are found in the process ICE should say "oh well damn you aren't one of the illegals we were prioritizing so you can just go on and stay"? The more you get the easier it becomes to find the worst ones.

bruh, you ain't ready to live in a world without cheap labor via illegal immigrants...

you think all of a sudden employers are going to just accept reducing their profit margins to be able to pay for more expensive help?

We employ hundreds of workers. None of which are illegal aliens. It's not that hard.

good on you... but many other employers, mainly construction and farming, do not... think housing and grocery costs are already high? it will be even higher if cheap labor is replaced with US workers who command higher salaries...

and look, i'm not advocating for illegal immigration... far from it, but i'm just telling you the reality of the situation... if you were to deport every single illegal here, right this second, we'd have some serious problems on our hands in terms of labor force and labor costs trickling down to consumers...

You're not telling me shite. I know the reality of the situation. There is a gigantic labor force lounging about every hood in the US even as we speak. Utilize them. Train them. Reduce unemployment. Reduce crime. Invest in our own. Also utilize the migrant workers who are here legally. Get the illegals out. Punish the ones hiring them. There will be growing pains but the current system is broken. We have to do something.

look, i hear you... i agree with you... but even the "hood" will be more expensive to employ... the fact is US workers will expect to be paid well... there's a reason these sectors went to cheap labor markets, like illegal immigrants, and it's not b/c the employers really like Mexican food...

quote:

Train them

that takes time and money... not all employers are willing to expend either one of these... this is just a fact of life

quote:

Reduce unemployment

cool, but how do you offset the intrest rate spike and inflation that will surely follow, as it ALWAYS does in times of low/record unemployment...

quote:

Reduce crime.

you are conflating illegal immigrant who are criminals and those that are illegal immigrant workers... they are not one in the same.... there are many, many more illegals who are here and never cause a one problem, criminally speaking...

quote:

Invest in our own.

again, time and money... and that's not even counting the fact that when they rae more skilled they can command even more money for those skills/labor...

quote:

Also utilize the migrant workers who are here legally.

wholeheartedly agree, but this group, alone, is not nearly enough to meet the demand of the economy... it just isn't...

quote:

Punish the ones hiring them

with lobbyist and money in politics, good luck with that...

i agree it's broken, there would be "pains", and that something should be done... all i'm pointing out is that's there's no "easy fix" and that "solving" one problem easily creates another... very Medusa like... it sucks, but it's what it is now..

honestly, the best way out is to grant amnesty and reset the immigration timeline to now, and then starting actually implementing a more rigid policy and actually enforcing that, starting now... the toothpaste is already out of the tube, so it's not really smart nor feasible (nor economically sound) to try to put it back in the tube...

My mans brillant idea is a sweeping amnesty. What a dumbass statement.
Every single immigrant here illegally committed a crime by entering the country ILLEGALLY, so there isn't one illegal immigrant in this country that hasnt committed a crime. The economy will not crash due to illegal immigrants being deported and anyone saying that it will is just a dumbass.
