1. There's still too many of us
2. Too bad the trend didn't continue for millennials

Need more abortion. Especially in urban environments.

The price to pay for the Sexual Revolution and the Great Society.

I was a latchkey child.
I am somewhat cynical.
But, most importantly, I was not aborted.

The ramifications are staggering.
You mean like a massive reduction in crime 15 years after abortion was made legal?

Those born between 1961 and 1981 were originally labeled “13’ers” by social scientists, who saw them as unlucky and star-crossed. Marketers settled on referring to them as “Gen-X,” with “X” symbolizing an unknown variable and undesirability.
Its been an ever decreasing quality since the Greatest Generation.
Older people referred to us as lost, or slackers. Our rebellion was against the 60's subcultures, and we thought we would never grow up due to nuclear war.

One of the most violent periods in modern times was 20 years after abortion was legal.

Gen-X is the most aborted generation in American history, with one out of every three of its potential members having been aborted. Half of its parents are divorced or separated. Many were “latchkey kids,” fending for themselves after school.
As a result, those of us that survived are tough SOBs.

The generation was known for its cynicism and lack of respect for authority. It was worn proudly.

You're gonna be downvoted into oblivion, but you are 100% on the $$$.
And Gen X here. 1981.

where is that data coming from? hard to believe 33% of pregnancies were aborted during that time period.
Especially considering abortion was largely illegal during a 1/3 of the time period.

I call BS on this.

Gen-X are pretty much the baddest mf'ers around. We did so much shite that kids aren't allowed to do today -- mostly because we were unsupervised. We're more educated than our parents, generally speaking, and just as hard working. Too bad we're a bump in the generational road, because the world could have used more of us.
Suck it, other generations.

From 1979 to 1982 the abortion rate in the United States was around 30%. I remember when I first learned that statistic and it shattered my view of the past. Now everything I see from the mid '70s through the '80s is looked at against the abortion backdrop.
All of this is scary to think about--some 30% of people simply do not exist. Even scarier to think that many abortions at this time were taking place in hospitals rather than clinics.

So boomers are taking part in the most abortions yet they also don’t want anyone else to be able to have that choice? Fantastic

Gen-X would be fine during an apocalypse.
