Too bad we're a bump in the generational road, because the world could have used more of us.

Suck it, other generations.

Damn, we could really use all those people right now. We just don't have enough.

Everywhere I go there's a dearth of people. Not enough people on the roads. Not enough people at the water park. Not enough people at the airport.

Their parents aborted them. Do you think they would have been more likely to end up paying taxes or getting handouts?

Alternate headline: Baby Boomers are the shittiest, most self-absorbed generation in the history of mankind.

Truly they are downfall of this country.

1965 here.

This is correct but, we also had a fantastic childhood of free range parenting and very permissive education. We were lucky that we were the first generation in a century not to get wiped out by a war on foreign soil. We are tired of being pushed around by the Boomers and the Millennials are pathetic.

The 80’s were awesome.

I kind of hope the while thing crashes and burns and I get to see it happen.

Last pre-PC decade. You could also buy booze legally at 18 for over half the decade.

Gen-X are pretty much the baddest mf'ers around. We did so much shite that kids aren't allowed to do today -- mostly because we were unsupervised.

The amount of dangerous shite we did as kids was completely over the top. Probably 90% or more of it nowadays would get you arrested and/or taken away from your parents by CPS. You know, shite that was fun.

Chris, you literally told the board yesterday to not worry about politics because it's a game and it doesn't matter

More naive to worlds actual problems than generations after them have been exposed to.

Problems for boomers usually calculated to can we get by on the husband's wage alone while the wife stays home with the kids?

I understand they fought more wars though. Those are not the ones I'm referring to

We were the most under- parented generation in modern American history. Which is why we matured early, valued freedom and kind of didn’t give a frick. I raised myself from 12 on . The shite we did, kids today don’t believe. Half of us had the freedom of adulthood right after puberty.I loved out a few months after turning 18 and never looked back. Hell I was crossing international borders in my car at 18 without any sense of it being unusual.

I'm a Gen X kid with Boomer siblings.. My parents were part of the Silent Generation, both born in the late 30's... I wasn't a latch key kid, and my parents weren't divorced. All of my friends parents were together as well. And they didn't put the country's current debt.. My dad was a "don't depend on the government for anything" type of guy.

Silent Gen was solid. The worst boomers were the ones born in the decade after WW2. The boomers born toward the end of the boomer era are better from my experience
