Border security takes 2 forms

1 is physical: the wall, guards all over the border, etc

you do realize the #1 contributing factor to illegal immigration is overstayed visas, right? the larger majority of illegal immigrants aren't physically crossing a border... they are coming through airport terminals and ports...

Massively increasing the number of deportations is a very good way to psychologically scare the crap out of people who want to cross illegally.

this i agree with... i'm totally with deporting illegals after they've had their due process afforded to them, as they are given under the law of the US Consitution... if they've been given that, and still been found to be here illegally, yeah, they gotta go

So obviously since his costs were less he was selling his houses for less than the competition, right?

Right?

Nah, not when retards want to make it easier, not harder, to import slave labor regardless of the actual impact to society.

Who cares if these migrants never assimilate and settle into enclaves, sending billions back to their shithole countries while sucking us dry so you can have cheap hammer swingers and chicken gutters. Right?

I’ve found legal immigration workers. The problem is business owners don’t want to pay the fees for going the legal route. It cost me 10k a year to get my workers. It easily done but others chose the cheap route and then complain when they get caught. I don’t feel sorry one bit for this guy.

Have an upvote. Do it the right way and our gov't needs to streamline the process for those wanting work and not handouts to get documentation and start paying taxes.

As a small business owner, it's shitty to do things the right way while your competition cuts corners and does illegal shite. It's always worked out for me in the long run. F$%k this loser. He needs to see some fines and penalties for knowingly hiring illegals.

$17/hr translates to about $450 a week after taxes without insurance

How in the frick do you expect people to live on $22,500 a year?

Honest to god - break it down

Most larger GCs (which is where you get your best pricing) don’t self perform any of the architectural or structural trades (which is where your immigrant labor performs). They subcontract it for lower cost, less time and higher quality than they could do it themselves

Seems most big commercial GCs now are just construction managers. Actually have no installation labor. Every trade is a sub or what they now call a “trade partner”. So they are hiring the lowest bidder that’s likely the lowest because they are using cheap labor. Likely not paying SS or Medicare because they are not legal.

So not only are they hiriring illegals that are taking the jobs of legal, they are defrauding SS and Medicare for everyone.

And many think fast food workers and Starbucks employees should be making $30 an hour and have benefits.
