You’re an idiot. LABI has been screaming about insurance rates and the need for tort reform for decades. If you think Trump in office led to lower rates you are an even bigger idiot.

Geico was getting ready to renew me at $1400 a month for four cars. I just had an accident (first one in 15 years) and my twenty year old son (no pics) had two at fault accidents.

Shopped around and State Farm wrote me for $950 a month with increased coverage limits.

I just paid my semiannual premium this morning to Allstate…less than a 1% increase.

I told them we are likely going to drop them because they said the only way we can get a further discount is by installing driving habit trackers on our phones.

I work from home and don’t put too many miles on my truck. I gave this program a try with State Farm, and my premiums went down by 25%. I’m pretty sure it’s mostly just a method of verifying the miles your on the road

Car insurance just got jacked up 25%. Biggest increase I’ve ever had. by jlovel7Both our cars are old, and we are good drivers with no accidents. The past several years our rates have remained steady. All of a sudden we get a 25% increase with Geico. I told them we are likely going to drop them because they said the only way we can get a further discount is by installing driving habit trackers on our phones. Anybody have any good suggestions for car insurance outside of Geico?

Travelers offered that to me on my ZL1Camaro. I asked if it monitors “breaking the speed limit” and she said yes. So I declined the discount…wasn’t that much anyway.

If you could pay health insurance based on your health and not a group of your peers, would you be willing to do it?

Telematics is the future of insurance. Drive Safe and Save is not capable of making your rate go up, and it’s an initial 10% discount until your first renewal when the discount is calculated based on collected driving data.

Newsflash, your phone is already tracking everywhere you go and everything you do

Everyone needs to cancel their insurance for a year. We went decades without car insurance before, we can do it again.

My dad was hit by an uninsured “asylum seeker” about a month ago. Really remarkable there appears to be zero consequences

When I told my dad today to shop around because I got such a better rate. He was like, that’s full coverage? These damn illegals are driving around without insurance.

Just call Gordon and ask him why your insurance is so fricked.

“But…but he has LSU players on his billboards!”

Louisiana is fricked beyond repair, boys. You’re seeing the end times before it becomes a total banana republic.

Bubububut I thought Tort reform passed about 2-3 years ago was supposed to fix things. Insurance companies like everyone else playing the inflation opportunist game

Just drive without any like all the Biden voters, that's what uninsured motorist coverage is for.

You can jump around and get a great introductory rate but everyone just had a big fricking hike.

We're perfect drivers with homeowners + 2 cars. My agent is a long time friend who gives us the best deals he can. Our shite still went up about 15%

Been with Farm Bureau for about 7-8 years now. No increases. Premiums actually dropping slowly as my truck gets older. Pretty robust policy.

Geico jacked up my rate at my renewal in July. Ended up switching to State Farm and got a much cheaper rate for the same amount of coverage as I had with Geico.
