you spent $115 too much. At least you can have fun with the rockets
I’m laughing all the way to the (PayPal) bank.
Wanna make a small wager here? Everything I bought today will sell for over $400 total? (And I’m way under estimating that)
Just the seven train cars will bring $150-$200 total. The RC car maybe $300. The rockets will easily bring $100 total. Not to mention the Coleman lantern.

That cleaned up nice. I’m no expert on Lodge, but they have some nice older pieces. Modern stuff is ok for daily use, but not collectible. And by modern, I mean after WWII.
I collect Griswold (1890-1940 specifically) but I could research your Lodge if you take some pics of bottom.

Have you done updates on these threads of yours of what you actually sold the stuff you shared for?
I feel a little cheated not knowing

focus on spotting better "rich people" sales.
trust me those sales are the worst. those tightwads only throw out REALLY SHITTY stuff and overprice everything.
Nope. The opposite is true.
Rich people have garage sales to get rid of stuff they don't want anymore so they can replace it with new shite. They aren't interested in making money....they are much more interested in making room and clearing space.
The ones where you don't get the good deals are the middle-to-lower class folks. They might have good stuff (or they might not), but their main priority a lot of times is making money and not necessarily clearing space.

The lantern is either a 220D or 220E, probably from the 50s or 60s. I doubt that it’s a 220C, the pump cap looks wrong.
Once you clean the frame rest (also called a collar) off, you should be able to see the model number. There should be a date stamp on the bottom of the tank.
As an aside, Sears lanterns made by Coleman go for more because there just aren’t as many of them around.

Those Lionel railcars are worth a lot of money.
It is a great buy because they are easy to sell, but none of those freight cars are worth big money. As AT pointed out, the Lionel car was a $25 car originally. These are all modern cars.

Those rockets will sell for good money.

I can't imagine what my wife would do if I hauled in a hoard of old shite like this every damn week.
A person would have to have a place to store that smelly old mildewy stuff until, by the grace of God, you could sell it off and ship it out BEFORE you hauled in another load the very next week.
