Another vote for Gallery Furniture. After what he did during Harvey he deserves the all the business he can get.

Yeah, definitely more contemporary or modern than traditional.

Building in Richmond (near Sugar Land).

I would only buy from Gallery ever after what Mac did for the town.

Even if he is a bit higher on price his actions deserve any furniture dollar i spend.

Gallery is great if they have what you like. Decent price and they will deliver that day. Our mattress is a Mac-o-pedic and for the price, it's great.

I will say I'm not the biggest fan of the furniture they have available. We got our couch, a couple chests of drawers for the bedroom and mattress there. But couldn't find a bed, table, office furniture, etc. that we liked. We looked hard to find the items we actually did buy there. I just found a lot of the stuff there to be tacky. But when there was something we like, it was a good price and the service was great.

Star had a lot of good stuff. There's also a Macy's furniture store in The Woodlands that we got stuff from.

Gallery 100%

You'll get it that night too.

Since you're in Sugarland he has a store in Katy off the Grand Parkway that would be good to check out.

When we lived in Katy, the vast majority of our house was filled with furniture from Gallery. 12 years later we are still using a bunch of it.

For several years after Katrina, they would deliver to NOLA for like $100. Every two or three days they would send a truck over. A lot of friends and family, when they were rebuilding after Katrina, would come visit us for a weekend and go to the store and buy like 5-10K in furniture and get it in 3-4 days, as opposed to the weeks or months it was taking local stores to get it.

We are looking to replace our dining and bedroom sets soon, and I've somewhat joked to my wife I might just fly there, buy it at Gallery, load up a Uhaul and drive it back to St Bernard. The furniture options here in NOLA are either terrible or insane expensive.

Depends on what you want.

There's always Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn. Arhaus. Ethan Allen.

Gallery is good and Star is fine. Ashley is cheap.

But there are dozens and dozens of furniture stores in Houston. I've liked what I found at Adkins, Georgia Brown, Chateau Domingue, several shops on 19th, etc. Those are far more in the antique and high end range though.

Design Within Reach is super modern if that's your style. I think it's somewhat reasonably priced. Can't remember.

But out by you there's a lot of the bigger stores that are going to be more traditional stuff. May look at E&G Amish Furniture. I know a lot of people like that stuff. Never been there before myself though.

In H-town, this is who you need to go see.

No Back-back-back order slips there.
