Maybe, but I have high standards, If I get "grilled" I expect to see grill lines. Hell I had expeditors send back proteins I cooked because I didn't have good enough grill diamonds on my meat.

Though even with high standards, I let a lot go. I have pulled hairs out of food and kept eating without saying a word. It happens.

But anything cooked on a flat top is technically pan fried and not grilled.

Exactly my point It isn't technically grilled, but for whatever reason, menus says grilled. Anyone ordering grilled items in a restaurant that serves basic things like grilled chicken sandwiches/salads has to have experienced this before and knows that sometimes grilled items are done on the flat top.

Could you imagine being a business owner, trying to survive if you were constantly having to eat these costs?!

Hey VPOK. I have a solution. For all those drinks you make that they look at and don't want, I will sit at the bar and buy them..full price. Not because I want to help, just cause I'm an alcoholic who likes surprises.

For those who don't know the definition of grilling...

Grilling is a form of cooking that involves dry heat applied to the surface of food, commonly from above or below.[1] Grilling usually involves a significant amount of direct, radiant heat, and tends to be used for cooking meat quickly. Food to be grilled is cooked on a grill (an open wire grid such as a gridiron with a heat source above or below), a grill pan (similar to a frying pan, but with raised ridges to mimic the wires of an open grill), or griddle (a flat plate heated from below).

Cooking shrimp on a griddle is technically grilled, she was just looking for a incident.

Rattlesnake sounds like she's a tad bit crazy. Might have a fee screws loose if you ask me.
