There's no need for data when you "truly believe"

I don't think he's far off. Many people like this have severe emotional problems due to some kind of childhood trauma.

Honestly....just try to be understanding as you would any mental disorder. That kid probably didn't have an easy time at high school. There is probably some kind of emotional issue.

Yeah, either his dad or his uncle molested him.

Has penis then he is a male. He needs counseling for his mental problems.
I'm sure I'll get blasted on here by people who decry science when discussing "climate change" but look the other way on science when shite like this comes up.

That's a confused kid. Needs help. Parents had to have seen something.

Not encourage mental illness for starters.

That is a cry for help if I've ever heard one. This kid needs help.

I don't understand any of this...
I guess I don't have to...its just weird to me, ...
What do we do? Smile and pretend we approve or are comfortable with this development?
All you have to do is treat him/her like another human. Is it that hard? You don't have to understand it. I don't. But it's not hard to not be judgmental of someone who is different.

Not an issue with most well adjusted kids.

Our friends daughter is transitioning to male.
The daughter was always introverted, never spoke to anyone and since discussing with her/his parents he is a new person. Very outgoing and a totally different person.
I personally have no issues with it and most of the parents friends have no issues either

Kid's got issues and needs to be in therapy. Parents shouldn't just accept it if he's never shown a single sign.

A friend of my father's transitioned about 10 years ago (she was a man in her mid-50s). It was a complete shock to my parents, and she made sure to mention all kinds of weird shite about how she had been crossdressing as a kid and been abused and stuff. Parents tried to respect her decision, but post-transition she became a weird(er) more inappropriate person and they shut that shite down.
