Freaky medical story of tDay: tooth growing out of eye socket NSFW

Surgical excision revealed a mature canine tooth (C, D) without teratomatous elements, consistent with an ectopic tooth of the superior orbit. I’ve heard similar stories before.
Any time I see stuff like this I think about it happening to someone 200 years ago. Just walking around with a tooth sticking out of their eye.
