4 African American Mayors did not pursue this issue. Mitch Landrieu to save his political career is determined to make this happen. However, there are only a few local African American supporters of this removal that ever show up at these monuments to protest. Instead ANTIFA shows up and defends his cause. Think about that - ANTIFA and Landrieu on the same side of history.

In New Orleans politics it's common as hell to hate the person you elected down the line. Nagin, Morial and Landrieu all shared this phenomenon by turning on the Blue Dogs who elected them.
