I think he was drunk. I don't know, that was wild. I've watched a lot of storms on tv through the years and I've never seen anything like that. Miles mfing Crawford

Used to live right next to the Canal underpass and someone drives into floodwater there in literally every heavy rain storm. Pretty much a twice a year occurrence.
People are dumb…also water is wet.

Gustav in BR was flipping wild
Rode it out in Rivervend
Literally sounded like a war zone with trees falling and snapping.
It was wild for sure. I live in University Acres (been here since 1993) and there were trees down everywhere. We had maybe five down, but luckily none directly hit the house. Some slight damage, but nothing like you.
I still remember the smell of broken trees/cracked wood outside after the storm. No power for 16 days

So the wife (no pics) who follows Fradella says that the winds are supposed to be stronger once the rain passes through. Is this accurate? I ask because, according to the hourly forecast, things are supposed to calm down pretty good by10:00-11:00, but the NWS wind graph shows gusts up to 70 around midnight, after the rain has cleared out. I'm in Madisonville.

That has been the trend so far, wind sticking around for quite a while atter the main band pushes through.
