Houma airport asos site finally came back online at 6:55 pm after being down all day. 52 gusting to 70 mph. Would have been nice for when the eye wall went through. Shows the punch of wind on the backside though. Strong tropical storm force winds without any precip involved.

I stepped out on the porch a few minutes ago and the win was INTENSE. I’m a couple of miles from the FQ. I have some young trees that I’m worried about surviving this.
