Pretty much every asos/awos site in south LA is out. Wish we could make some government weather stations that didn't go out in tropical storm force winds.

Water on my street has come up significantly. Also getting water coming in through the attic door. Can’t get up there right now. I hope it’s just wind drive.

You can’t hide behind a 200 mile cone w me buddy and call yourselves experts.

Hm. OK. Putting aside the fact that this is a silly statement, let’s see where they had the storm making landfall:

10 AM Monday:

(By the way, this is how far back you had to go to get a cone 200 miles wide at landfall.)

10 AM Tuesday:

10 AM Wednesday:

Most recent update:

So at what point are you asserting that they missed by 120 miles? On Sunday?

And yes, Covington was outside cone at times and now could have eye wall on top of me

You should probably try reading the notes:
“The cone co rains the possible path of the storm center but does not show the size of the storm.”

Since the 4 pm update, have they give coordinates? If so, how has the movement been. Haven’t been able to follow the last couple hours.

Getting a little sporty in River Ridge. Bands of rain and gusty winds. Still have power.

The eye is 65 miles wide. That's larger than the NHC average miss at 36 hours. Most of SELA is going to have the eye wall in some form or fashion. Grow up.
