Its gonna have to go hard NNE to make that validate
Not immediately, and it is expected almost due north after 12 hours.
If the eye goes over Amite City, it validates. The line is just a connection from where it is now to where they'll think it will be at 1am Thursday.

They’ve been wrong and been reacting the entire way
They have not been wrong. The weather data readings is very fluid. The interpretation of that data changes as the data changes. Why is this so hard to understand?

You understand that the ceiling of this storm has always been Cat. 2, correct?

Anyone else crushing food from the freezer today just in case? I got ice, but I can't save everything. Those poor little ice cream sandwiches had no chance. French toast sticks, your time has come.
Gas generator, but very little gas. Two battery power stations and some solar panels. My stuff going to stay frozen.

Shows how little you know about me and the company and what we stand for and actually why we started it.

4 p.m. update shifted track a good bit east
Right! It’s like people refuse to accept that
The projection at 1am Thursday is 23 miles NE of the 4am projection. No one is struggling to accept it, but people are making a much bigger deal out of than necessary.
If 23 miles is the difference between you preparing and not preparing, you're a fricking dumbass

The intensity predictions have always included the potential for a CAT 2.

Does anyone else believe the NHC maps need a big upgrade? Been looking at the same antiquated stuff since the internet was a thing.
