Radar velocity is showing ~85 knots in the NE eyewall.
For the experts, what would that be at the surface? I'm getting a little concerned that the far eastern edge of that eyewall may clip me or be very close to my west.

At that range/distance the radar is "looking" 10,000+ feet above the ground. It is cold up there, and precipitation can freeze.
