RI chances are low for now

So if the cone is the error spread from the track, and according to Fradella all the major models are now east of the track, do we see another cone shift east? Hurricane warning move east?

that brings up a good point for duke, slack, et al. if this isn't in fact a part of Francine, can it negatively affect Francine in terms of hogging precipitable water, etc?

Way above my pay grade but I appreciate the unfounded confidence.

Francine is not currently east of track. Models indicate that it may end up that way though. Suspect they tick the center line about 10-15 miles east to account for those models, but the 18z models may jump back west as well. Avoids the windshield wipering on center lines, which should be removed all together. Thats a subject worth discussing all by itself.

Fradella is good at what he does, but he can get a little carried away on the fear mongering. There’s a reason Fradella is at Fox 8 and not with the NHC. The NHC some of the most knowledgeable meteorologists in the world. They will put the 4pm track where they think it belongs.

I wouldn't think a saturated atmosphere would help our cause

It’s all relative. The chart you posted shows RI chances are at least 30% higher than average, hence the 1.3x climb comment below the 20kt/12hr column, but only a 7% chance. 60% higher than normal for 25kt/24hr, but “only” an 18% overall chance.
