I’m convinced Chicken sends an argumentative Bot once every few hours just to get everyone fired up when the thread gets stale. Cause some people are so hellbent on their worthless opinions

I'm talking about the greater Houston area, which is most certainly not all concrete. Try again, Rock Me Amadeus.

I must have had my head in the sand because most of the models don't have it crossing north of Brownsville for another 24 hours. These turns take time I suppose.

It always happens until the update comes out. For the most part folks shut up and listen.

After that there is not too much to “report”

Did you even pay attention to what Beryl (a measly cat 1) did to Houston, the 4th largest city in America?

A man should have a plan to take care of his family even if the overall threat is somewhat low. Do we have food, water, gas, cash? At least that's my opinion.

This is from the OP’s latest loop. From an amateur’s analysis it looks to me like the storm is losing organization rather than strengthening. The central convection is completely lopsided. The eye that was apparent earlier today has disappeared.

It's pretty clear now that some dry, stable air needs to be mixed out of the circulation. This could be an artifact of the huge convective burst from earlier today. However, it looks like the first legit convective burst of the evening is going off near the center after a period of pretty weak popcorn convection.

Yeah I was curious myself. It goes from Brownsville to the Louisiana coastline within 24 hours. She’s gonna book it across the gulf
