Centerpoint as a company terrible... Where they are terrible is maintenance and storm preparation.
Don't think I've ever heard of anyone in Houston losing power out of the blue

Here's my first look at potential peak wind gusts based on the 4 PM advisory/track (white line) from NHC. These are *estimates* & highly dependent on eventual track/intensity.
But important to note a track like this would have significant power outage potential in our area.

Anyone remember Berry a few years back? That thing hit land and it just absolutely fizzled out as soon as it hit Louisiana. Would be nice if this one did like that.
