Everybody stopped building when mortgage rates shot up. The Fed will kill the economy as they intend to

Good. I may start looking to have a shed built now that prices might be better.
Increase in labor probably will be up still though

Now do plywood. And that graph is lying as it applies to wholesale lumber suppliers.

I will say, both have come back down significantly.

Not on store shelves it isn't

A 2x4x8 is still $3.35 at Home Depot. They were around $2.25 to $2.59 before CV19.

Eh, they were gonna kill the economy with rates near 0

Rates are at a good level now imo

Especially any hardwood veneered plywood. Birch ply is still around $90 per sheet. Twice what it used to be.

What choices does the average joe have to buy at least quasi-wholesale?

So no more 3-2 baller billionaires? Where are they going to park the monster truck fleet and put all those Tupperware bins of consumer grade garbage?

Wages are up a ton and everything else, that’s really not terrible and it’s not likely to drop a whole lot more

sales were the same at the higher shelf price as they were at the lower shelf price, why reduce it and lower profit? Only way it comes down is during a serious downturn in the economy and they need to boost sales
