But the people pushing to extend the shutdown have nothing to worry about economically.

And on the flipside, some of the biggest cheerleaders for opening it back up are the wealthy that can continue to work from home while they send their employees into a potentially dangerous environment.

COVID-19 isn't cancer - that false analogy discounts his rant.

Some locations have not flattened the curve and are still experiencing a rise in cases. Some areas are at 80%+ ICU bed capacities.

The consistent message has been to flatten the curve and get enough testing. The question is the spatial context of flattening the curve and what truly is enough testing.

I went to the dentist yesterday and would have felt much more comfortable if I knew the dentist had been confirmed to test negative for COVID-19 in the past 24-48 hours. I'm sure he felt similarly for me.

You sound a little scared and should shelter in place until we find a vaccine and shut up about what the rest of the world should do.

Opposite.

Those people have enough money saved to weather any storm.

Low wage workers don’t. They need their jobs back.

What? You mean business owners who are seeing their businesses impacted by government shutdown orders want to open back up again? HOLY shite MAN THAT'S MINDBLOWING.

Total propaganda found on some left wing meme. It's astounding an actual adult believes that.

Thebiggest cheerleaders are gig workers and self employed, many of whom haven't seen a check in two months.

My bookface feed is full of hyperventilating mommies who are saying there is no way their chirruns can go back to school or that we can open things up until there is a working vaccine.

I don't really have mommies on my feed since the algorithm doesn't show random people from high school that I never communicate with, but I've seen a lot of y'all mention this here.. and I have to say I am really surprised by them having this stance.

For my IG, the people with the "stay at home forever" stance are the really far leftist, vegan, androgynous haircut, Sanders fangirl/boy types. Or celebrities.

Are Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson(both worth several million dollars) not blowing a gasket every night, while they broadcast from socially distances studios, to send people back to work? Pretty sure I saw that when I flipped to Fox News the other night. Convenient they're not calling out Fox News's own work from home policy that was just extended to June.

But yeah, it's just left wing propaganda. Idiot.

What about an HIV screen for your dentist?

You might want to learn how HIV is transmitted. Getting dental work from an HIV+ dentist is an insanely low risk to you. In fact....you may have likely received care from a healthcare worker that is HIV+ and never knew it.

Hepititis screen?

Everyone has access to Hep B vaccine. Most healthcare workers are offered it for free if they didn't get it prior to becoming a HCW.

Flu?

Again...vaccines and antivirals will help treat it. Plus...dentists wear a mask so that would help contain droplets.

Pneumonia?

Again vaccine and again...he is wearing a mask and we have lots of ways to effectively treat pneumonia.

Mumps?

Vaccines and let it run it's course and treat symptoms.

I didn't allude to that.

The guy said it was the plan from the start. Trump was the one to start it. Therefore, I asked if he meant Trump.
