My Gmaw had a 68 Caddy Fleetwood. Only had 15k miles on it in 84 when she died. Had a 500 CU” motor. It was the largest V8 GM ever made. I was close to turning 15 and wanted that car so bad…sadly it was not to be.

Another buddy had a GTO Judge. The Judge and the 442 were very similar because they were both GM cars.

We had a Green '69 Charger that we took to Mexico in the mid 70s. I remember the local Mexicans had never seen such power and use to always beg my Mom to peel out. The government took it on some " technicality" and the last time we saw it it was a black & white police car.

My pawpaw just test drove my new 1500. Asked me if there was a road with no houses around. Rolling from 15 mph, barked the tires and got it to 90, turned around and did it again. Then asked if he could bring my granny ride. Did it again
Had a beer with me then drove to the dealership and bought one identical.
Granny said "we were just going to look"
He was on the phone with the salesman after drinking said beer and it was already cleaned, gassed up and ready.

The 440 six-pack was brought out in mid1969, but it was strictly limited to the Dodge Super Bee and the Plymouth Road Runner.
Maybe mawmaw had the standard 440 or the 426 hemi?
