Yes you are. I think that would make you 3rd Cousins once removed.
Her Mother and your Mother are 2nd Cousins. She and your mom are 3rd Cousins. You'd be once removed. I guess it just depends on the family as to what I'd do. If this is a side of the family you never see and it's not like y'all will be showing up to family events as cousins and lovers then who cares.

I came from a family that is about 2 generations removed from being "rednecks" but our family still has remained pretty geographically close in central Virginia. Before I went to college and moved to Louisiana I saw my 2nd cousins (and their parents aka my moms 1st cousins) multiple times every year. Now I doubt I'll see them much at all for the rest of my life.

The law statute is fairly strict with defining incest. The reasons are obvious when an innocent life can be maimed at conception. But in this case, if one uses well-informed, rational thinking there is simply no reason, legal or moral, that could justify calling the OP's relationship with this girl wrong or weird in any way.

Unfortunately that's not how the judgement of those around us work in the world. Technically that shouldn't matter but we all know it does.

Only if it's true maternal...meaning, is her grandmother first cousins thru marriage? The way I see it....wait a minute. How are they first cousins? Is her grandmother parent your mom's uncle or aunt?
Explain the family tree in detail. If my aunt remarried to a guy with a kid, that kid would be my 1st cousin, but on paper only...no genetic relation.
But your mom being 1st cousin with her grandma means their parents were siblings..
But the girl is AT BEST your 4th cousin....plow away
