What got me is them initially saying the woman had a gun in the house. She had a right to have a gun in her house and that wound up being a moot point eventually.

He shot a woman in her house, through her window, while there on a welfare check because the neighbor said her front door was open and wanted someone to make sure she was ok.
Neighbor was being a good samaritan and this a-hole goes in all dumbass rookie.

No, they were responding to a welfare check called into the non-emergency line by the next door neighbor. Go to the front door instead of creeping around in the back yard like a coward or a thief.

I didn't say anything about killing a white woman would be better. Did he shoot her for racial reasons? I doubt it. But race absolutely plays into this case by the mere fact that she was black and he's white. You can pretend it doesn't matter all you want, it matters in the public eye and will matter as this case proceeds. Save the clueless cracks for yourself.

That's like saying sex had something to do with it. Merely identifying the race of the victim is insufficient to show that "race had anything to do with it," which obviously connotes some degree of motive or causal link.

The dude screwed up big time. What about the gun inside the room? Was the victim holding it and he panicked when he saw it?
Initial pics showed a gun on the floor but I havent heard much else about it. Not defending him because so far appears he shouldve been charged based on that video.
