Seriously? This is the equivalent of hanging truck nuts on a fully loaded dodge ram and adding 15 K to the sticker

You do have about $3k in shocks and a whole lot of other goodies that go along with the Raptor package.

LOL. You must have just seen me doing 85 on a city street with my tribal tats shimmering from my swole arm as I flipped off a school bus.

Sorry you’re jealous, bro.

Definitely not the equivalent to truck nuts. I’m not saying the Raptor is the best truck on market but I wouldn’t mind having one by any means

Any of the higher end Ford’s are a huge waste of money. I think it was last year that they came out with their first 100k truck. I would drive a fiat before paying that much for a ford

They ate fun to drive. Like any truck with that much suspension travel is.

I don't care what make of car it is. Spending over $30k for a vehicle is just dumb.

Doesn't the Raptor come with a twin-turbo with like 500 horsepower/torque?

Wait until they come out with the Ford YETI. Ten times more expensive for no good reason.

Areddishfish, is paying 30K for a car dumb if you can pay straight cash for it? Because that seems like a smart investment

ETA: obviously for a car you really like, not a Honda Accord or a Chrysler 300

Are you the grumpy old coot that posts on the Wrangler forums with the Popeye avatar?

BTW the Raptor is the most capable off road pickup on the market. If you watch this video you can see how the Raptor puts the most off road worthy ones from Dodge and Chevy to shame. There is one part in particular that shows really shows off the difference. Once you see it you will know.

TFL Offroad Shootout. Hint it starts around minute 26.

But it's got suspension... 20k worth of it. So that when you never take it offroad because you paid 80k for it, you'll feel better about paying 80k cuz suspension

But I do know what I’m talking about, and yes I know I’m over exaggerating with the truck nuts example. But the raptor is easily overpriced 15 to 20 K for what it has

I've seen a few Ford Special Edition trucks at Green Ford here in Greensboro for over $100k. They were all about $106k.
