Just saw this add where Farmers is paying a mediocre golf pro to hit a ball at a helicopter. Imagine how quick your company would drop you for less. Dont even think hes wearing ear protection.

Looks to me like he's not trying to hit the helicopter. I believe they're trying to use helicopter downwash to mess up his golf shot.

No. People bitch about insurance bc instead of just covering shite like they should they figure out ways to not pay for some underlying reason that was printed on the back of page 57 of your policy.

If the owner of that helicopter has Farmers Insurance, and gets a dent from a golf ball while filming that Farmers Insurance ad, I bet they reject his claim because he intentionally put the helicopter in the path of the ball.
Because insurance companies are sh!tty.

Insurance consumers suck because they lost sight of the fact that insurance is meant to protect you from truly unexpected events and want insurance to cover routine costs.
Insurance providers suck because in order to sell insurance, they have to pretend to cover every routine cost, but in order to make money, they have to shave every payout possible.

Insurance companies routinely frick people over in the claims process thereby creating the need for plaintiffs attorneys. Then they bitch about plaintiffs attorneys. Frick insurance companies.

“I’ve paid X amount of money for X amount of years” is probably the dumbest, less thought out statement ever when it comes to insurance.
If people really feel that way, then they should skip out on insurance and open a savings account.

It's both. People don't understand it but the companies also do plenty of shady, unethical shite to push the bottom line. It's not mutually exclusive.
