I don’t watch sports for political purposes or because I think the people I am watching are great people that hold the same values I do. Since the beginning many people involved in sports are complete pieces of shite, IDGAF, I watch and love it because I love sports and sporting competitions. But let me know how the view is from your high horse.

Eh, I think I’ve watched one LSU beating. But I have been watching some NFL. Kind of bummer of a season and written it off.

Judging by your post history you've spent the whole last month banging away on the election board. You've just traded one mindless outlet for another, congrats.
As this is the most blatant attempt to steal a presidential election in almost 150 years and very possibly all of American history, I think it's understandable to complain about it online.

Haven't watched any NFL games at all and find myself grudge rooting against the Saints.
Still watch college football.

I haven't watched the equivalent of 4 quarters total this whole season. I haven't missed it at all. I check in on the scoreboard for updates from time to time, but even doing that has slowed down.
Something about this year and the "lockdown" changed me in some way. I value my time much more, and there are other things I enjoy more than sitting for hours in front of a TV on a Saturday. It is also much better for my blood pressure.
I haven't been comfortable with the direction of college athletics in quite a while. The whole deal just doesn't mean much to me anymore.

Everyone I know who "stop watching" football because of all the political stuff did't really watch it much in the first place.
I am a huge football fan, but I have watched less this season than usual just because its not as exciting.
If I learned anything this year, its how much of a factor the crowd really plays in football. Obviously I always knew that a crowd made a difference. When its so loud that the players can't hear their QB, that makes a huge difference,
But a game with no crowd, there are less momentum swings. And I hate the crowd noice the feed to the TV audio. Its steady noice. Its just something about not hearing the crowd roar when a QB is sacked or over a turnover. Or in the 4th quarter with 1:37 left in the game, your team is up 23-20 and the other team has the ball at their own 27.. How insanely loud the stadium gets, that's exciting.
You don't have that this year.

FYI, NFL plays on Wednesday now

There was so much frickery going on at the beginning of the season, that I didn’t intend to watch a single play. After missing the first game, I realized that this would not work and there was no point in making myself miserable just because I was hard headed. I was hurting only myself and nobody else gave a shite. I have to admit, after being locked down all week, I really look forward to the weekends when I can watch some football.

I worked weekends last year and didn't see a lot of games. Knew after not missing it last year that skipping it from here on out would be a breeze.
Don't miss it at all...especially the two hrs of commercials in a typical 3+ hr game.

No pro sports except NHRA and Motocross for me. I do watch college sports.

Nope. I watched a few minutes of one game out of sheer curiosity, and have seen a couple of highlight clips here and there. And no, I surprisingly don't miss it much.
I think this was a long time coming for me, though. Even before the political radicalism, the whole commercial scam aspect of college sport was wearing thin on me, the constant efforts to paint the whole enterprise as old fashioned "student athletes" when they are, in reality, minor league pros, most of whom have no business being on a college campus.

Nope, I’ve not watched a game yet. In fact, didn’t realize that I forgot to check the score to the A&M / LSU game until Monday. Simply forgot they played.
Do I miss it? Not really. I’ve got better things to do than watch a bunch of race peddlers offend the very people who support them.

I'm learning to watch a lot less. I've had the best last year. What else could possible top that? I'd like the saints to do well.

So you watched about 8 or 9 games?
