who do you think you're talking to?

I remember when you'd have that many alters in one night. I once outed one of your alters in under 60 seconds, a TD record which I presume still stands

Why don't you spend less time watching football and more time studying grammar and spelling?

Everyone I know who "stop watching" football because of all the political stuff did't really watch it much in the first place.

I am a huge football fan, but I have watched less this season than usual just because its not as exciting.

If I learned anything this year, its how much of a factor the crowd really plays in football. Obviously I always knew that a crowd made a difference. When its so loud that the players can't hear their QB, that makes a huge difference,

But a game with no crowd, there are less momentum swings. And I hate the crowd noice the feed to the TV audio. Its steady noice. Its just something about not hearing the crowd roar when a QB is sacked or over a turnover. Or in the 4th quarter with 1:37 left in the game, your team is up 23-20 and the other team has the ball at their own 27.. How insanely loud the stadium gets, that's exciting.

You don't have that this year.

There is a difference between my actual alters and what the board assumed was my alter.

The funny thing about it all was that I would be posting as an alter and it never raised any questions while there was someone else "new" who started posting, getting accused of being my alter.

Not a down... after all these 40+ years of being a Loyal fan, All the 3-13 seasons... 0-1 starts.. Stupid drafts... Having other teams set crazy record after crazy record against us... Like Most yards from the bench.. etc.. and all the money spent on tickets.. Trips, hotels,, Food.. souvenirs.. Gear.. DirecTV.. etc...

After this bullshite this year of shoving their personal politics down my throat that I disagree with.. Especially against the Flag to somebody that has had both Military and Law Enforcement in the family.

frick 'em

I feel that they stabbed me in the back...

So instead of kneeling before the flag and wearing names of criminals on their helmets, instead of cops that gave their lives fighting crime in the community...

They needs to start worrying about New Orleans being #4 in the Nation for Murder.. The Crime Rate.. The bottomed out Tourism industry... The loss of Mom and Pop restaurants and shops due to covid...

I am enjoying my Sundays now... My family.. Doing fishing, Riding motorcycles, getting in the woods. Squirrel and deer hunting... I am not longer glued to a TV on Sundays anymore. There is more to life that watching Millionaires complain that they are oppressed while New Orleans is a Crime infested place to go.

Yes.. I miss Football, but life is better without it.

The people in this thread aren’t snowflakes. They’re people that probably watched hundreds, if not thousands, of games for enjoyment. That enjoyment was taken away when they turn on a game and are met with lecturing from “entertainers”. If I walked into a drug store or restaurant and received that treatment, I sure as hell wouldn’t go back.

No. I have only seen about one quarter's worth of the Saints when it was on in a restaurant where I was dining. I haven't watched LSU at all.

Guess what? IDGAF. It hasn't been missed.

I may scalp my Saints season tickets next year, or give them up. Don't know yet.

I guess I fit into this category but I was really into when I was in band in college - that was more fun than watching it on tv.

But I got married right after college and we had kids - so on Saturdays I’d be busy with the kids so my husband could watch the games in peace or with friends. As the kids got older we’d watch the games occasionally - but plenty of times they played sports too. Saturday was their day.

Sundays we always watched the Saints but after losing bc of stupid calls in the playoffs two years in a row, it got old. The social justice pandering didn’t help.

I get irritated by the assertion that people who are boycotting were not fans in the first place. I will match my former NFL addiction against anyone.

In the 90s I would wake up, listen to Buddy D on the radio while watching ESPN's NFL show at the same time, then watch the Saints game at noon, then watch the doubleheader game while listening to Buddy D's point after show at the same time, then watch Berman's highlights show on ESPN, then watch SNF and follow it up w/Sportscenter.

Somebody top that.

I can honestly say I haven’t watched a down of pro football, skipped MLB and all the playoffs, same for NBA although I did miss watching this at times. Doing a number of other things outside with my son on Sundays and it has been great. Will never go back most likely.

I don’t watch ESPN anymore unless there is a college game on I want to see. I do DVR College game day to see the picks in the last 15 minutes but that’s about all I watch. No Sportscenter ever for any reason.

My choice.

OH.. and just add to the fact that I boycotted and missed last years Superbowl because of the BS Pass Interference "NON" call... More true Fan bleeding B&G there too. But this year.. pfft

I have been posting this a lot on this website and I stand by it.

Saints are gonna win the Superbowl. I guarantee it. No way Goodell or Refs screw us this year.... Promise.

Saints are so "WOKE" this year it's pathetic. The Jacob Blake helmets and then the Breanna Taylor masks put them over the top... Especially when you get BLM activists like Shawn King praising Payton.

And then you have Drew Brees doing a complete 180 on the flag and his wife issuing a statement that they are the problem... Believe me... They gonna win..

Woke Saints and a New Converted woke Drew Brees comes back from broken ribs to Win Super Bowl and he retires in a Blaze of Glory and goes into Broadcasting.

You think the NFL and Goodell gonna pass all this up.. No way...

Saints win Super Bowl 2020... Bank on it.
