I’m looking for gasoline for my generator. If anyone knows of a station on the North shore that has gas, please reply. I’m don’t need people to bring me anything, that should be reserved for others in a more desperate situation, I’m just trying to locate a station where I can get gas tomorrow. Thanks.

If anyone outside of Covington/Mandeville needs assistance I have a group of friends with heavy equipment ready to go.

Tree cutting, etc..

They’re heading to Houma later tomorrow.

Please reply to this particular message and I’ll check it regularly.

Here is an image of my house in old mandeville. Our home is completely destroyed and we will have to demolish it and don’t even know where to start but know the tree needs to go. I am with my wife and daughter who are both admitted into the same hospital and we are stuck here through Thursday. I have family that can be there if need be for them to plan to make it out there.

If anyone is a licensed electrician who can help me get a l transfer switch installed in Slidell I’d appreciate it. My MIL is elderly and needs oxygen and She needs to get home if possible. I have a generator and the switch I’m just concerned about install.

I could also use a switch installed in New Orleans if there’s anyone there who could do it

Our daughter has been in the NICU for over 3 months already and today was supposed to be her due date. She has a bit of a ways to go and my wife had a difficult pregnancy. She was admitted to the same hospital as my daughter in Nola due to some of the same complications she had during her pregnancy the day before the storm. So thankfully we’re all together still and no one was home.

I am currently housing three elderly (90+) family members and their caregivers in a hotel in Houston. It appears that return to their homes in NOLA area may be weeks away. I am interested in a one month or month-to-month rental house or apartment for them. Probably can't be picky but the ideal area would be near another relative in Spring-Cypress (NW Houston) area OR possibly near Broussard/Lafayette other relatives. If anyone has a suitable furnished and currently empty house or apartment in or near those areas willing to short-term rent please leave a message here.

Before you hire anyone to cut anything or do anything, I'd go hire an attorney. Insurance companies in the LC area were terrible with total loss situations. Best of luck to you and prayers for your wife and baby!

Does anyone have any good recommendations on how to tarp a roof properly? Roof is up 20 feet from ground so not too confident in my ability to safely work up there being that I’ve never done anything like that before. Also have several giant uprooted trees partially blocking street - am I supposed to just leave them and let parish handle?

Need Northshore electrician recommendations for reconnecting line to a house. Preferably more than one sincere I'm sure finding one will be a shitshow.

Damn Who_Dat ... if you can, I'd suggest going in if it's safe and getting any photos, sentimental things that your wife will miss having.

PRayers for you, your wife and baby.
