You’re misremembering because it did happen. Any out of state adjuster was barred from entering your home for Laura unless he/she quarantined for 14 days after entering the state per Honor Code. Your adjuster might have been a La resident but for the majority of us they were from out of town and sin...

Is Gov Honor Code requiring ida adjusters to quarantine for fourteen days prior to entering houses for ida like he did with hurricane Laura?
All of our insurance companies sent links to down load to video the inside of our houses but with no electricity much was missed.

SF sent you a letter that you probably threw in the pile we all have. The letter informed you that your wind deductible would increase to 5% IF you didn’t contact SF and sign to keep it the previous deductible.
It was Legal but pretty damn shady since SF knew that most wouldn’t even read their let...

Burned 5 gallons per day during Laura, started generator at 6pm and killed it when we woke up. There are a lot of soft hands in the affected area evidently.
Have offered to bring gas to several buddies in BR but none have needed it yet.

Was paying entergy at my house and apartment after Laura for 7.5 months. In the grand scheme of things it was a minor inconvenience. OP, just wait till you start dealing with contractors that don’t show or don’t preform and still want to get that weekly draw....

Our poodle rescue got hit and died the day after thanksgiving. Our other rescue came in our room the morning after we got home to get her out of the bed. Being a human I want to think she misses her but idk, I sure do....

Plenty brand new genracs shite the bed in LC after Laura. Our office had genrac and it came unwound between 2:30 and 4:00 when I went back to check. Service was non existent and most won’t touch them. It’s a recurrent theme with that brand, get a Cummins and cry ?? once....

You laugh but can happen. Dad had a cousin that died at 12, his dog was a partner in crime. Rode in the hearse to cemetery and never left his buddies grave. Dog died a couple weeks later and was buried next to his master....
