During the George Zimmerman case last year, I said some things that were considered too provocative. There was also a anthropological observation that was construed racist, although that was not the intent. I have had a note that my “posts were being reviewed for quality purposes”, but really no other explanation. Consequently, I can only assume the aforementioned did it.

I guess that I have to understand that I am probably from a considerably “older school” in contrast to some of the posters and perhaps administrators. Consequently, I need to be more mindful of what is currently considered politically correct versus incorrect.

However, that said, this is not about the other posters. It is solely about my indiscretions, which I humbly apologize for whomever I have offended and am willing to even make such an apology as my first post, provided I am reinstated.

If I am not going to be considered for reinstatement, I would appreciate an e-mail to that effect so that I will no longer ask for such.

While I am admittedly imperfect, if reinstated, I will pledge to do my best to not violate the rules of the website in the future.

TD is a great website. I am sure that with all the members who are on the board that the admin team has a very challenging job and do the best they can. One thing that Chicken and Associates do a particularly great job with is the attempts to control acrimonious posting that can occur when LSU loses a football game.

I would like to vouch for Salty and humbly beg for his reinstatement!!

Posting from someone else's account and their cell phone. Thought I had noticed that the ban had been removed. Problem with a set of old eyes looking at these small phones. If the ban is still on, I will simply enjoy reading from time to time. It's all good.

Fwiw, I hope Chicken unbans you simply for the honesty of your post. Most of these reinstatement threads have people praising the admins genitalia and other oddities, but yours was to the point and surprisingly candid.

I wasn't knocking the others, just saying his was different.
