Been using this new version for half a day now. I've already customized my go-to forums. Nice not having the tech, soccer, ect that cluttered my page before. Overall will take some getting used to like all new formats.
And if we are giving suggestions then may I add the ability to downvote threads without "entering" them.
This would greatly expedite my dealings with owlfan69.

Wasn't happy at first, but I've customized my forums and I think it will be groovy.

So its just thinner harder to read font and extra clicks to get to the forum you want? What are the positives?

If you are gonna have the ads on the right you need some kind of spacing on the left, it's awkward having the text start all the way on the left when it looks WAY better and is way easier to read when it is centered. The old layout is way, way better just because of that alone.

Is there an Alpha link?

Dude, this thread is 17 pages, you don't think 100 people have made alpha/beta jokes?

Agree with this. Just started using the beta and the first thing I noticed is my line of sight is having to adjust to the far left side of the screen to see the topics. Probably the simplest solution is to place the ad strip on the far left which would center the topics more the way they are in the non-beta.

Only thing i dont like is i have goto tiger rant too get back to normal OT or other forums on the TD from SECrant.. That is the only issue i ran into on beta forums.

You can customize your links to include both TD and SECR boards. Scroll down the customization lists to see all the boards that you can choose from.

Perhaps a user's customized list of forums could appear on the left side to centralize the the main body of the forum.
The "All Forums" and "My Forums" tabs could then remain at the top.
Something like this -

I'm not going to read all 17 pages of this thread, so my apologies if my feedback is redundant.
1. I'm not a fan that the page selection option for a board was removed from the top of the thread list. If I am in the OT, and I know that there is a thread on the 2nd or 3rd page that I want to reply to, you used to be able to navigate pages from the top of the thread list. Now it's only available at the bottom. Not a huge deal but annoying that it was removed.
2. Is there a way to include a "reply to thread/OP" button so that after I read 32 pages of a thread, I don't have to go back to Page 1 to respond to the OP?

It seems like you're having to do a lot of teaching, explaining, and training. I get you're trying to increase site revenue, but at what cost? The number one thing you have/had going for you is a clean layout and awesome navigation from board to board.
Whenever somebody tries to explain the site to someone unfamiliar, it's a lot of times with use of words like "clean, easy, user friendly." Not "the Larry Leo articles are awesome and the sub menus within menus that are within menus are groundbreaking!"
And I've been here for 13 years, I've been making this suggestion for years...put OP next to a thread creaters name whenever they reply within that thread...in a 25+ page thread it's easy to lose track of who started it which causes you to go back to the original post which in turn causes you to try and find your spot from where you left off.

This.
This is the only thing I think needs to be added back

I don't hate it, but I had no problem with the previous layout. The reason I like the regular layout is because it's simple and easy to navigate. I usually just go over and click on whatever forum I'm looking for - I don't even notice the soccer board or others on there.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But I'll come back regardless of which one yall go with.

Actually now that I'm using it more I kind of like the ads on the right. I hit them a lot less when I'm scrolling than I usually do using desktop.
Are you really that careless enough that this was a problem?
