2016 Ford F-150 with 197,000 miles. With current truck prices, I hope to get another 100,000 miles.

2006 Honda Civic 170k miles A/C doesn’t work. Radio doesn’t work. Still gets 30+ MPG though. Great for gas bills.

AC can’t be that expensive to fix in a Civic? Even up here in New England I thank Jesus for AC in the summer.

No, but it doesn’t bother me too much.

I’m also car shopping right now too.

2016 Tundra Crew Max with 130k. Other than sun damaged headlights not a thing wrong with her. Would love more tech, but with no payment, kids in college and nothing else that interest me I will ride her until she can't move anymore which should be a long time.

It's stressful though, I have panic moments when I drive around sometimes because if someone hits me and it gets totaled, I'd have to start all over again.

Just got rid if a 2012 Explorer with 130,000. Traded it in as I saw another $2000 minimum fix on the horizon. I like my cars to run and ride at its best so I service them meticulously.

My next oldest car is a 2015 QX80. 108,000 miles and still smooth as a baby's behind. I will probably trade it in due to outdated technology instead of how it runs.

I love owning cars. It puts you in a position to have choices. I can choose to keep the car until the wheels fall off and save money on trade ins every 3 years, or if life is great I can trade it in for a newer car before it falls apart, and I am not at the hands of a dealership, and have no car payments or leases to worry about. I would love to buy another car but I don't need to. I enjoy having the upper hand.

I can’t understand the people who can afford a new ride and nice house but just drive old arse cars and hoard all their money. It’s like they gonna take it with them

We just bought a nice house and are keeping our cars (both about 7-8 years old) until they die.

With Brandon's economy, going to hang on to both and ride this bitch out until car prices come down.
