Do you guys not look after each other anymore? I mean I can’t count all the times I had to get a buddy out of jail, clean up puke, bring or pick up someone from hospital or get into a fight for buddy even though I thought he was in the wrong, set up with date, pick up car, etc. when I was that age. Before cell phones.

Seems kids have a live and let die attitude now even among friends, nailing each other’s girlfriends, etc maybe just groups I see. Is that true ?

Everyone is very self centered these days to the point of being completely inconsiderate of others.

You think this is exclusive to the 25 and under crowd? Its not.

People just suck. Selfishness exists in many different segments of society. You can be married with kids and attend church every week and still be one the most selfish pieces of shite on earth.

I'm not far outside of 25 and all that stuff in the first paragraph was pretty standard.

I used to say live and let live. But this ever changing world in which we live in made me give in and cry.

Live and let die.

Sounds like you need better friends. I help out my friends, but if they were constantly getting arrested, we wouldn’t be friends.

I have too much I’m trying to accomplish in the near future to put up with bullshite. If you can’t take responsibility for yourself and your actions and constantly need me to bail your sorry arse out of trouble, I’m not maintaining that friendship.

People are all about friend counts on Facebook rather than friends in real life. Social media makes it to where everything needs to be for the world to see. All about posting cool pictures. If someone fricks up, better not associate with that person anymore because your relationship is public 24/7

It’s not just these days, is been always. All these women 40+ with the “can I see a manager” haircuts. These people in their 40-60s who have been divorced multiple times because they make it all about themselves. It’s just people in general suck. I tried being a person who helped out everyone and did all I could. My in laws ruined that. You do all you can to help others, and people take advantage of that until you’re no longer useful to them and they frick you over. Maybe I’m just jaded at this point. I don’t frick over others, but I’ve stopped going out of my way anymore.

You probably could have used a class upgrade on your buddies.

This has happened since the discovery of genitals.

The impact technology has had on the development of interpersonal relationships cannot be understated, particularly for the youngest millennials, Gen Y and younger. For many of these kids, the vast majority of conversation is through social media interaction and texting.

Narcissism among the under 25 crowd is an epidemic.

Cell phones and social media are hindering kids' ability to develop deep connections and friendships. Relationships are shallow and veiled.
