There are two different options on Twitter. One is "for you" which is part algo and part who you follow to make up that feed. The other is only tweets, likes, and retweets of people you follow.

And the “kid” was 22 years old. If he didn’t like what he was doing living in their home (assuming he still lived with them) then you ask the kid to move out.

It's just the news. I don't always post depressing shite but you guys seem to only point out the depressing stuff.
I post a lot so I am sure it's a volume thing because there are several depressing topics I see that I don't post but after a day or two someone else does. They don't get called out for it.
