It's hard for me to believe that even if Wiki had 1000 coins, that someone on this board could have rode that train to 70 million dollars. I don't think I could have back then. Probably could now

I don't even know the dude. So I have no idea if he even owned coins. And if he did I certainly have no idea if he sold or kept them but keeping them is increasingly hard with that dangling in front of you. You really have to believe in bitcoin as a revolutionary change in the world monetary system in order to not cash those in.

And if anyone is wondering at all, I was orange pilled a while back by Png and her husband. Both incredibly smart as frick. I would consider them the foremost experts on this subject on this board. I spent countless hours and conversations unpacking together from the economics end to the monetary end to the societal end. I don't believe this is a subject that you can spend a week on and have a grasp of what's happening. I'm aware that it takes years to fully get a handle on what's happening.

Wiki went back and did that himself

If he did it himself, he used some kind of script. Dozens of edits per minute, if you look at the time stamps.

Russian then basically responds with "yeah, well you're just the typical over-educated lecturer. I'm rich, therefore, I'm right."
I'm pretty sure I've never posted anything close to that.

Although I like that quote and may use it in the future. Thanks!

you mean he had his butler's servant's sex slave go back and edit thousands and thousands of post.

It's really not that many posts that he changed. You only need to go to page 16 of his post history to see where his edits end. He has over 275 pages of posts, and probably more as I think TD has some sort of cap on the amount of post history you can view.

you cant delete a dozen posts in 60 seconds?

its what, 3 clicks for each post?

i did the same thing with my original account on here; it wasnt even anything bad..i was just going through an ugly div around the 2006 timeframe and felt like ANYTHING i said could have been misconstrued so i nuked it all and started over with a new user.

Not gonna lie it takes a fricking toll on you holding to life changing money and then back down to the shitter which he would have done multiple multiple times if he was still holding

I assume he sold a bit of his stake along the way. But still held on to 50% or so

And he probably had another 50 pages or so of posts under his original screen name before he adopted "WikiTiger" as his alter.

He posted for a year or so using his real name as his Tigerdroppings screen name.

Anyone who has been on Tigerdroppings since 2005/2006 will remember when he switched to a new screen name after he started being a frequent Wikipedia contributor. He wanted everyone to know he was changing his screen name because he wanted everyone to know it was him behind the new screen name.

Some of the wiki pages he either started or contributed photos to (mainly pertaining to LSU baseball/Alex Box Stadium history) are still there but his real name on them has been removed as a contributor.

Wiki had a lot of of TD-based scripts as a hobby. I remember him telling me once about a script to hide posters and getting in a lot of trouble once the admins found out.

I bought at 3k in 2017. Sold at around 6k after it crashed from 20k fully intending to get back in. I once had 1.8 BTC.

It took off before I could.

I no longer like to talk about BTC

My problem was I couldn’t stop trading. If I shut up stuck it on my ledger and got amnesia I’d be much better off.

My advice. Buy BTC never check the price again and HODL. It’s going to the moon.

Young, economics nerd duderino was very passionate about his theories

I ended up being sort of right though, it HAS played a role in subverting capital controls, though not to the extent I thought it would.

What the hell ever happened to doc fenton? Dude was my hero.
That is a good one. A lot of usually smart posters coming off looking like idiots back then. Some even still digging their heels in the dirt (i.e. Russian)
