I found a way to skip the flu vaccine 6 out of the last 7 years I was in the military. The one year I didn't escape from getting it, I got the flu a few months later. Folks, take daily doses of vitamin D.

I got the shot. I got the flu, with mild symptoms. One doctor told me it was too far along for Tamiflu to help. Another dr. prescribed it. I took it. Had the flu for one day.

For some reason, anti-vax beliefs have moved from the far left to the far right over the past 15 years or so.

I hadn’t thought about that…curious point!

Do tell us more about google, Facebook and Twitter bannings for muh vaccine misinformation. You know you ate it up but you’re too intellectually dishonest to admit it

Not me bro. Tested for antibodies in Jan and was negative. Will test again next month. Just added the screen to my annual blood work.

Correct. The flu shot is typically referred to as a shot and not a vaccine.

Because the ultimate source of the bullshite is the same (foreign) and the target of the bullshite is the same (idiots).

Change the messaging up given the winds and you get antivaxxers on whatever side of the extreme you want.

type A H1N1 is the prevalent strain going around. It was in the vaccine this year, but I havent seen data yet on efficacy. I believe its >80% type A right now.

Happens every year except 2020 and 2021. So you’re admitting that masks work?

Worked to stop the flu in its tracks but allowed multiple strains of Covid to become pandemics?

Why is the data so far behind? Last reports appear to be for the week ending 12/2?

You’re asking about effectiveness not efficacy in this scenario.
