Never used so no idea if they can accommodate you:

Tiger Airport Shuttle services the Baton Rouge and New Orleans airports. Special events and concerts upon request.

May the LSU game qualifies as a special event. Probably cheaper to rent a car as many have suggested. Good luck mate!

Traffic in BR is a nightmare after a game. Due to contraflow, ubers are not an option after the game until several hours after the game is finished. Also, NEVER use public transportation in Louisiana. I've heard horror stories from people who rode the bus from Nola to BR.

Your best option is to cancel the bus ride and rent a car. If you get to campus early enough, there will be plenty of free parking (hay lot by the river or Ag lot on East side of campus). Someone will need to stay sober to drive the car back after the game.

Why would someone fly to New Orleans for a game in Baton Rouge?

I live near the EBR line, and I can get to Kenner way faster than I can get to BR Airport. Also, more options for flights and usually cheaper too.

Hi and welcome
I can understand why you might not want to rent a car given that you are used to driving on the opposite side of the road in Australia. Also you are accustomed to reliable and safe bus service. Unfortunately that is not the case here. Given that even if you were to take the bus, I am not, but may still have to figure out a way to get to the bus station from the airport (taxi) but also bus stop to stadium in Baton Rouge. Assuming you are getting a hotel in New Orleans?
All that said, a car service may be a decent option. With surge pricing of Uber for a sold out game, might even be less expensive.
This is a car service I used when I lived in Batin Rouge. Riverside Limousine. You should check their prices

Which part of Australia are you from? I’ve been to Sydney and Melbourne. If I had to live out of the US, Melbourne would be at the top of my list.
Good luck

Y'all are insane telling an Australian to rent a car or Uber back to New Orleans after a night SEC game. He's gonna want to be drunk and not pay a fortune to Uber.

Have you considered FlixBus?

Uber is best bet. It might be a bit expensive with surge charges after a game, but you will stay alive and get to drink.

If he takes a Greyhound from NOLA to BR, his view of Americans will diminish greatly.

Unless you’re this guy, avoid the Greyhound stations. Another famous Aussie Steve Irwin dealt with less dangerous creatures in his day. Uber or bum a ride.

Going to a game in TS isn't touring the ghetto
