Stuart Bee was miraculously rescued from the middle of the ocean on Sunday, two days after he departed Cape Marina in Port Canaveral and never returned. The 62-year-old set out on his 32-foot Seay Ray on Friday; the alarm was raised the following morning when a member of the marina alerted the Coast Guard, telling them Bee typically did not stay out overnight on his boat.

He explained to the Coast Guard that his boat had become disabled on Saturday, after suffering mechanical issues. He was woken abruptly sometime after midnight Sunday when water rushed into the forward cabin and pushed him out of the front hatch of the vessel.

That's pretty anticlimactic for Florida man. I thought he'd be wrestling a shark or something.

Of course he'd look like he's been stranded for 6 months.

I guess we can eliminate the cause being that he dragged anchor?

Upon boarding the Coast Guard vessel, Florida Man reportedly said “I’ll take the job. Potato salad.”

The real tragedy is how many guns he lost in his boating accident.

I don’t know how many of you have been on the ocean at night, but it’s an extremely dark place.

And it’s dark on a boat much less floating and hoping to get rescued

Thats a hell of a picture.

Imagine the relief he has..a man literally having the prayer of his life answered.

He sure was perched up on the bow behind the rail. Keeping them toes away from the sharks.
