There's that "allegedly" BS again.

A Florida mother accused of leaving her four children home alone for nearly a week while traveling to Las Vegas reportedly filed for divorce from her husband last month amid allegations of domestic abuse, according to court records.

A Florida mother has been arrested after she allegedly left her four children, who are under 14 years old, home alone while she was working in Las Vegas, according to officials.

Irene Miller, 50, was arrested on four counts of child neglect, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office announced Monday.

Miller told investigators she was working in Las Vegas and a babysitter was checking on the children, according to the sheriff's office. When she returned to Florida, investigators took her into custody, according to the sheriff's office.

On Oct. 21, just after 8:30 p.m., one of the children called 911 and reported that a dumbbell had fallen on her 9-year-old brother's head, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies responded and found four children ages 14, 12, 11, and 9 without an adult, according to the sheriff's office.

The injured 9-year-old child was taken to the hospital, treated, and released, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies then contacted the children's mother, who told them she was working in Las Vegas, the sheriff's office said.

An attorney for Miller did not immediately respond to ABC News' request for comment.

Miller told deputies a babysitter was checking on the children before and after school but was not required to stay overnight, according to the sheriff's office.

5 days across country is insane, but I wonder what the line is for these ages. I think I'd be ok with a weekend and less than a couple hours away, depending on the maturity of the children.

No way - need someone with a car/license and 9 is pretty damn young.

Many, many children have stayed alone at those ages. If she truly had someone checking in on them periodically, I see nothing wrong with it.

Honestly, if the kid hadnt called 911, I don’t think anyone would think twice,,,

There isn't any sort of similar company/business model in Florida where she could have done that shite for work?

I'm not getting the necessity of Vegas unless the work is a front.

I stayed home by myself for weekends as a 14 year old BUT...

big BUT here... I wasn't expected to be looking after multiple siblings and especially not a 9 year old.

Feel bad for the single mom. Those kids are old enough, especially the 14 yr old, to take care of themselves for a few days. Plus she hired a babysitter to drop in on the mornings and evenings.

My parents would’ve been in prison back in the day over this.

I expected it to be a stripper.

There are tons of them they fly in for big events and weekends at the clubs out there.

worse than a stripper, she’s Russian.

Her soon to be ex-husband is Ukrainian. They are getting a divorce, and then she accused him of domestic violence, so he has a no contact order with her.

He did not even know his kids were in the house alone for five days.

If this is the case, my parents should've been locked up multiple times. My 3 brothers are 8 (twins) and 10 yrs younger than me. They left me in charge from the age of 12 on many weekends whenever they would go off to party.
